STANDARDIZED TESTING

Mount Pleasant Middle School has a standardized testing program. Test results provide teachers and parents with information about their children's strengths and weaknesses, and help in academic planning. In the fall of each year, the sixth graders are given the Otis Lennon School Aptitude Test. In the spring, the Stanford 9 Achievement Test will be given..
2004-2005 Testing Dates
1. Otis Lennon School Aptitude Test: Dec.7, 2004 (tentative)

2. Stanford 9 Achievement Test: Feb. 28, March 1,2 & 4, 2005

Parents are requested to make every effort to have their children in school on the days of the testing so that valuable class time is not missed for the make-ups. A student can prepare for a standardized test by getting a good night's sleep the night before and eating a good breakfast on the day of the test.
